Our Services

We are national business that focuses on two specific market sectors of the new vehicle dealer market, and the accident repair industry. We are consumer focused, assisting at the critical moment of handover with an expert opinion on quality before accepting or taking possession. Don't rely on guesswork when navigating a vehicle handover and be realistic. We don't live in a perfect world, mistakes happen, damage occurs, human errors are inevitable. Furthermore wilful, negligent or unlawful decisions are sometimes made about brand new and accident repaired vehicles. However you deserve nothing less than acceptable quality, have full disclosure and free from defects. We are driving a seismic shift in consumer behaviours to have the default mindset to automatically book a handover inspection after an accident repair, or when receiving your new car. An article has been written about our business by automotive media and consumer business DRIVE https://www.drive.com.au/partner-content/the-new-car-handover-inspection-saving-buyers-thousands-by-finding-defects/

Brand-New Vehicle Inspections

Purchasing a brand-new vehicle is a major financial commitment, yet intentional non-disclosure of transit or yard damage and repairs remains common. Also rectification of factory paint defects conducted by local panel shops before being sold as brand new also remains common. This is well known within the industry, and the evidence can't be disputed about this fact.
We inspect your brand-new car before handover to ensure quality, compliance, full disclosure, and protecting you from purchasing a vehicle with immediate warranty voids or hidden repairs. The amount of brand new vehicles that are right now in Australian panel repairers or Pre-Delivery facilities for paint or body defects, or accidental damage is phenomenal. Furthermore the amount of mobile paint repairers used by dealers is on the rise which is an unethical and prohibited repair process by many manufacturers and refinish paint companies. Unfortunately this has been happening for decades and consumers have the legal right to know the truth about their new car and preventing financial harm. The consumer has the legal right to reject these vehicles under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), or negotiate compensation. We also inspect for poor workmanship and accidental damage during accessory fitment. Request our inspection as part of your Contract of Sale.

Collision & Accident Repair Handover

Insurance companies and panel repairers must meet strict safety and legal obligations, including repairing to manufacturer repair methods. However, complaints for poor quality and even unsafe repairs is extremely high, and a majority of claims get escalated to a complaints process. Our inspections are far more than just a walk around to find any visual defects or poor workmanship issues, we review the repair file and provide expert opinion. Traceable documentation eliminates risk, liability and eases safety concerns. Our handover report may be used to validate an acceptable quality accident repair, identify prohibited repairs, or used as an interception process. Insurers and regulators can also use our service to conduct spot checks on repairers, evaluate risk and conduct industry research for systemic issues. Traceable documentation and intercepting at handover stage may reduce complaint cases to the Insurance Ombudsman AFCA.
